UNTITLED TRANS SWIMMING PROJECT

Continuing the theme of the projects I was working on in the Spring of 2023 centering around transgender experiences and issues, I wanted to make a picture about the feelings that trans people have with water. While it wasn't originally intended, through it's energy, my model Marsh (it/its) was able to bring a much lighter tone to the shoot that, to me, represents the joy and comfort one can find from the water, and the reunion between trans person and water that can occur later when a trans person finds themself more comfortable with water and swimming.
